How to Apply for the Cyprus Digital Nomad Visa

To apply for the Cyprus Digital Nomad Visa, applicants must be from a non-EU or non-EEA country and prove that they are working remotely using telecommunications technology or are working for a company registered abroad whose clients are located overseas.

The following documents are required with a completed application form:

  1. Passport with at least three months validity
  2. Two passport photographs
  3. A copy of your recent CV (Resume)
  4. Employment contract for a company outside Cyprus, detailing the applicant’s employment
  5. Evidence of your monthly income which must be in excess of €3,500 ($3,850)
  6. A certificate of clean criminal record obtained from your local police department, obtained prior to arrival in Cyprus
  7. Proof of accommodation, for example a rental agreement
  8. Valid health insurance
  9. A certified blood test completed in Cyprus to show the applicant has none of the listed diseases (see application form)
  10. An affirmation that the applicant will not work for any Cypriot-based employers or companies

Applications must be submitted to the Civil Registry and Migration Department in Nicosia within three months of arrival. Processing applications takes 4-6 weeks and the Cyprus Digital Nomad Visa visa is valid for one year, with the option to renew for an additional two years.
