Picking the best country in Europe to live in isn’t always easy because you have to weigh up a lot of things, from how strong the economy is to what the weather’s like, and many other factors that can impact your quality of life. But let’s keep it real, for most people thinking about moving abroad, it all comes down to how much it’s going to cost. Yet, when you look at the lists of the best places to live that are published every year, it’s usually the same pricey countries at the top, like Switzerland, Norway, or Austria, where many people can’t afford to live.

Many Americans are looking to move abroad in search of a more affordable way of life. Sure, we all want the highest quality of life possible, but we also have to be budget-conscious.
